Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), along with the Indonesia Fintech Society (IFSoc), supported by Grab and OVO held a public lecture webinar and panel discussion on Tuesday (08/03). The public lecture and panel discussion was themed "Heading to G20 Indonesia 2022 Presidency" with a specific topic discussing the "Digitalization of MSMEs: Driving Force for Digital Ecosystems & Democratization of the Indonesian Economy." The webinar was held online via Zoom Webinar and featured expert speakers from various fields.

On Monday (07/3), the Master of Management Study Program FEB UGM was visited by the Norwegian Ambassador of ASEAN, HE Kjell Tormod Pettersen. During the visit, Tormod also delivered a public lecture to 23 students who passed the selection of the ASEAN Master of Sustainable Management program from eight different countries, six people from Indonesia, with the rest coming from Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia.

On Tuesday (22/02), the Center of Microeconomics Research and Dashboard FEB UGM launched its second program called Meet The Expert. This program invited various experts in microeconomics topics and discussed current issues from an economic perspective. The first Meet the Expert series discussed the perspective of economics in viewing the polemic of Old Age Security (JHT) in BPJS Employment and the current state of development of social protection policies for workers in Indonesia.

The change in the condition of lectures from being face-to-face to online has had a big impact on students. As a result of this sudden change, it causes a sense of stress for some students. Coupled with the limited physical activity it becomes a barrier for students to develop themselves. Seeing this issue, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM held a webinar on Friday (25/02) with the theme "FEBInvinity: How to Manage Stress and Creating Balance during Online Class."

A total of 1,551 graduates, consisting of 1,275 graduates of the Bachelor program and 276 graduates of the Diploma Program, were successfully graduated by the Chancellor of UGM, Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., on Wednesday (23/2). The graduation ceremony for the February 2022 period was held both offline and online, and was attended by representatives from each study program at Grha Sabha Pramana. After an average study period of three to four years, the graduates have finally arrived at the end of their college life and can now proudly wear a toga.
