Faculty of Economics and Business

A brief statistic - As one of the eldest Faculty of Economics and Business in Indonesia, FEB UGM has achieved a vast array of accomplishments. Statistical data show that the faculty has significantly contributed to the national education. By 2011, we recorded more than 20.000 alumni since FEB UGM's establishment in 1955. Many of them are holding key positions in government and business communities.

FEB UGM continues providing excellent education at undergraduate, master, and doctorate levels. As of 2011, FEB UGM was home to 2.013 undergraduate students, 424 professional program student, 1.016 master students, and 146 doctorate students.

In order to maintain the academics atmosphere and the quality of education, the faculty emphasizes resource development: 59 lecturers hold doctorate degrees and 90 lecturers hold masters degrees. Likewise, the faculty continuously facilitates research activities of faculty members: 25 professors are actively supervising research in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Accounting Management, Auditing, Economic Development, etc.

QUALITY ASSURANCE OF FEB UGM

FEB UGM consistently implements a quality assurance system to maintain and improve the quality of education and research. The quality assurance system encompasses academic policies, standards, rules, and procedures. The implementation of this system provides FEB UGM students with reputable and stable environment for:

1. Compliance with academic policies, standards, rules, and procedures.
2. Courses relevant to communities and other stakeholders' demands.
3. Students who graduate from FEB UGM to gain competencies as determined by FEB UGM
