Pre-departure Training

Pre-departure orientation is organized for IUP students who will take Exchange/Double Degree Programs in partner universities. It is aimed for IUP students to have better knowledge and preparation particularly on academic life/challenges in the partner universities. Furthermore, students will get overview from the alumni or students who have conducted the similar program at partner universities. As well, there is a speaker who will be able to share his teaching experiences. The training consists of Dean’s speech, information on academic life in foreign countries, things to bring, first things to do upon arrival, student-lecture relationship, lecture style, academic supports, accommodation, spare time activities, and Do and Dont’s.
