The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), conferred degrees on 112 undergraduate graduates in the third graduation ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic year. The graduation ceremony took place on Tuesday evening (19 May 2026) at the FEB UGM Plaza in a warm, meaningful atmosphere. This moment not only marked the end of the students’ studies at FEB UGM but also signaled the start of a new journey into the professional world.
In this period, FEB UGM conferred degrees on 68 graduates from the Accounting program, 22 graduates from the Economics program, and 32 graduates from the Management program. Of the 112 graduates, 101 achieved the cum laude distinction.
Several graduates were recognized for their outstanding academic performance and remarkable accomplishments throughout their studies. The distinction of top graduate was awarded to Muhammad Nur Maulana from the Accounting program, who achieved a GPA of 3.91; Kenzi Aminullah Adli from the Economics program with a GPA of 3.81; and Fransiska Anindya Putri Perwitasari from the Management program, with a GPA of 3.93.
Next, the title of fastest graduate was awarded to Eoudia Azalia Salsalina Ginting from the Accounting Program, who completed her studies in 3 years, 4 months, and 11 days with a GPA of 3.58. Finally, the title of youngest graduate was awarded to Adella Wahyu Pradita from the Accounting Program, who graduated at 20 years, 6 months, and 14 days, with a GPA of 3.77.
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA., in his opening remarks, expressed his appreciation to the parents who have entrusted the education of their sons and daughters to the Faculty of Economics and Business, UGM. He also emphasized that, to date, students have not only achieved academic success but have also built social networks and gained experiences that will serve them well after graduation.
“Thank you for your trust in entrusting your children to FEB UGM to study, socialize, and network, as well as to find a path towards a better future,” he said.
Didi also highlighted the role of various parties that have supported the continuity of students’ studies. One such form of support comes from the Gadjah Mada Faculty of Economics Alumni Association (KAFEGAMA) through scholarships.
“Support from KAFEGAMA has also been invaluable to the students, enabling them to graduate successfully. This support extends not only to scholarships but also to laptops for students in need,” he added.
Furthermore, support has been provided by other institutions, including through the Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) Kuliah program. During this graduation period, 14 students receiving KIP Kuliah assistance successfully completed their studies.
“FEB has succeeded in becoming a place for individuals from diverse economic and geographical backgrounds to pursue their aspirations,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Fransiska Anindya Putri Perwitasari, speaking on behalf of the graduates, expressed her gratitude to all those who had supported them throughout their journey to graduation. She also encouraged the graduates to look back and reflect on the struggles they had faced during their time at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UGM.
“We want to become something, to be part of something greater. Behind the gowns and smiles lies a long journey that has gradually shaped us,” she said.
