On 22nd-25th September 2014, the student teams of Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) succeeded in the National Business Case Competition (NBCC) held by Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung (Unpad). Two teams passed the selection. One of the team is

Abiyasa’s Team that successfully won the first winner in the case competition given by Mark Plus Institute.

Abiyasa team consisted of three students, namely Adrianus Rio (Business, 2012), Ikhsan Brilianto (Accounting, 2012), and Rian Ridha Ramadhan (Busniness, 2012). The team managed to get rid of its opponents from UGM, Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Unpad, and Universitas Parahyangan, Bandung. Competition on "Industries Facing the Global Market" was sponsored by three major companies namely, Citilink, Mark Plus Institute, and Kompas Gramedia. Each sponsor provided a case to be solved by each team. The juries were Unpad’s lecturers, practitioners, and representatives of the sponsors selected one winner based on all cases presented.

"I think there are three keys to win the competition successfully. First is experience, because it has a significant impact, therefore try to join many competitions. Second is to communicate with professors to get a lot of input and advice. Third, keep healthy,"said Adrianus Rio.
