Hilmawan Kusumajaya, a students with the International Undergraduate Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (IUP FEB UGM), successfully finished in the top five Asia-Pacific in the January 2015 edition of the Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT). In this English language test conducted online, Hilmawan defeated many of his competitors from various countries in the Asia-Pacific region. According to Hilmawan, he did not do any special preparation for the test. "I love to read news related to the economy, and it turned out that a lot of questions in the test were about things in the news” said Hilmawan.

The Bloomberg Aptitude Test is a standardized test used to assess critical thinking skills of individuals around the world in eight subject areas related to the business. It is conducted by the Bloomberg Institute and can help the students to enter the world of work nationally and internationally. With their BAT scores, they can find a job by entering the scores into the BAT Talent Search. "Spreading awareness that these tests are being held needs to be increased again", said Hilmawan as the interview ended.
