Supporting the growth of Indonesia's Sharia economy, Thursday (24/11), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), held a seminar entitled "Murabaha Agreement in the Perspective of Fatwa of the National Sharia Council - Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN MUI) and Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) 102 ". This seminar aims to make the audience gain broader knowledge about murabaha contracts from the perspective of DSN MUI and PSAK 102, especially in the Sharia banking industry. Dian Andari, S.E., M.Sc, moderated this seminar.

Study Program of Master in Accounting (MAKSI) Faculty of Economics and Business UGM held a Public Lecture on Forensic Auditing on Friday, 31 March 2023. The public lecture entitled "The Ins and Outs of Investigating Indonesian Fraud Cases - The Role of the Prosecutor's Office in Recovering State Losses in Corruption Crimes" was held via Zoom Meeting and broadcast directly via the Master of Accounting FEB UGM Youtube channel. The resource person for this public lecture was Abvianto Syaifullah, S.H., M.H., the Investigating Attorney at the Republic of Indonesia's Attorney General's Office. He explained his presentation regarding the role of the prosecutor's office in law enforcement, especially corruption in the context of returning state assets.

Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is an important aspect of trade transactions in Indonesia and around the world. MSME businessmen often engage in FMCG trading directly or transact with the FMCG industry. However, the FMCG industry contains complex aspects, hence it is needed to perform supply chain analysis, strengthening digitalization tools, data science, and the application of applied research methodologies. In contributing to the post-pandemic economic recovery, on Monday (4/7) International Week (iWeek) held a lecture entitled "FMCG Supply Chain Digitization for Micro and SMEs". This session's iWeek lecture was presented by Dr. Ying Li, a practitioner who is currently positioned as Chief Scientist at EV Analysis Corporation as well as serving as Chief Scientist Officer at AwanTunai.

In starting their business, it is not an easy matter for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to get funding. One alternative funding that can be done by SMEs is crowdfunding. The topic related to this, titled as “Talking the Financing Constraints of SMEs: Lessons from the EU Regulatory Framework for Financial-Return Crowdfunding” was discussed in a series of lectures as part of a virtual summer program held by the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) on Friday (01/07), namely International Week (iWeek) 2022. On the day of the event, the lecture series presented an expert speaker on the topic, namely Dr. Konstantinos Serdaris from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.

Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is again holding a Faculty Fair after taking a three-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Activity Faculty Fair took place for two days, on Saturday (18/03) and Sunday (19/03) at Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) UGM. This activity aims to introduce the faculties and vocational schools at UGM to students who wish to continue their studies at tertiary institutions and the broader community. This event involved all faculties, schools, and units at UGM.
