The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) collaborated with PT Taspen (Persero) in developing human resources by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and conducting a webinar with the theme Leadership in Marketplace. Located in the Kertanegara Room FEB UGM, Friday (12/17/2021), the President Director of PT Taspen (Persero), Mr. Antonius N.S. Kosasih. This webinar is held as a form of facing the challenges of graduates who are ready to work, and how the Indonesian generation will face the uncertainty of the situation in the future.

In the current era, accounting is in a dynamic condition of change, both in terms of knowledge, profession, and so on. Especially in today's digital transformation era, accounting science is growing rapidly and is required to continue to adapt. In response to this, the Master of Science and Doctoral Program (MD) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a scientific discussion webinar, namely the Third Series of MD REFO (Research Forum) on Friday (12/17/2021). This scientific forum brought the topic "Digital Transformation and the Future of Accounting", and moderated by Aviandi Okta Maulana, M.Acc., Ph.D., Lecturer of the Accounting Department FEB UGM. Conducted online, this webinar was attended by 87 participants consisting of various parties, including students, academics, practitioners, and the general public. This third series of MD REFO webinar presents speakers, namely Syaiful Ali, M.I.S., Ph.D., Lecturer of the Accounting Department FEB UGM and Professional Accountant Certification Board.

Seeing the importance of supply chain resilience in dealing with disruptions such as the Covid-19 pandemic and managing the complexity of a business' supply chain, it is necessary to disseminate knowledge regarding this matter. One form of knowledge dissemination is the dissemination of research results related to the topic. As part of this effort, the Field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Studies of FEB UGM designed an annual routine dissemination program called MLRP Impact. MLRP Impact 2021 is titled as MLRP 2021 Research Exposure and the first series was held on Thursday (16/12) with the topic “Supply Chain Resilience for SMEs.”

The MD Research Forum (MD REFO) is a webinar aimed at scientific development and is held periodically by presenting lecturers at FEB UGM as speakers. On Tuesday (14/12) the 2nd MD REFO was successfully held with the topic "Pre-Employment Card and Axiology of Economics" and presented Denni Puspa Purbasari, M.Sc., Ph.D., Lecturer of the Department of Economics, FEB UGM as well as Executive Director of PMO Pre-Employment Card, as a speaker. By presenting speakers who work as academics and practitioners, it is hoped that they can explain the topic more broadly through two perspectives, namely in terms of theory and implementation.
