Alums of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), Class of 1982, also known as Bina Ikatan Delapan Dua (BILA), have donated Rp 120,000,000 to FEB to support students' educational activities. The donation will be used to provide scholarships for undergraduate students from underprivileged families and scholarships for thesis assistance. The donation was handed over during the 42nd BILA Reunion held on Friday (2/7) at the FEB UGM.

The Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (IE FEB UGM) has explored opportunities for academic and research collaboration with Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). The exploration of a potential partnership took place on Monday (29/7/2024) during the visit of a delegation from Lancaster University to FEB UGM. The LUMS delegation consisted of Prof. Marwan Izzeldin (Associate Dean for International Partnership, LUMS), Prof. Hilary Ingham (Head of the Department of Economics, LUMS), and Prof. Andrew Abbot (Academic Dean of Lancaster University in Sunway Malaysia). The LUMS delegation was welcomed by Dr. Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo (Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni), Dr. Rimawan Pradiptyo (Head of Department of IE FEB UGM) along with the managers of the Economics Department and Head/Secretary of the Study Program at the Department of Economics FEB UGM.

There are various ways to maintain mental health when experiencing anxiety or stress. Psychologist Atikah Dian Rahmawati, M.Psi., a psychologist at the Student Wellness and Personal Development Center (SWPDC) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UGM, shared some simple tips for maintaining mental health that students can practice. One of them is the butterfly hug method. This method is quite simple and can relieve anxiety or negative feelings.
