The 2023-2027 Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), serves as a guiding framework for the Faculty to achieve its mission and vision through the optimal use of resources. The plan is built upon four strategic pillars: service-oriented and innovative leadership, technology-driven business process transformation, a strong focus on human resource development, and collaboration with strategic partners over the next five years.

The decline in the poverty rate in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) in March 2026 is considered a positive achievement. Penurunan angka kemiskinan di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) pada Maret 2026 dinilai sebagai capaian positif. Dosen Departemen Ilmu Ekonomi Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), Wisnu Setiadi Nugroho, Ph.D., mengatakan bahwa di balik capaian tersebut, masih terdapat persoalan ketimpangan antarwilayah dan antarkelompok masyarakat yang perlu mendapat perhatian lebih serius.
“Rilis Badan Pusat Statistik pada awal Agustus menunjukkan persentase penduduk miskin di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada Maret 2026 menurun 0,38 poin dari September 2025.
