Registration for new International Undergraduate Program (IUP) students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) Intake 2 for 2025 is open from April 10 to May 14, 2025.
The selection exams will be online from May 22 to 25, 2025, with the results announced on June 4, 2025.
Arizona Mustikarini, Ph.D., Head of the Global Relations and Mobility Unit (GREAT) at FEB UGM, shared that the IUP is one of the faculty’s flagship programs, offering prospective students the opportunity to gain valuable international academic experience at the undergraduate level. Launched in 2005, the program aims to develop future leaders equipped to thrive in a global environment.
“The IUP FEB UGM is an excellent choice for students looking to expand their academic horizons internationally. One of its key strengths is that FEB UGM is part of the top 6% of business schools worldwide accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB),” she explained on Thursday (April 10, 2025) at FEB UGM.
Arizona also highlighted that the IUP offers international exposure through double degree and student exchange programs. These initiatives are made possible through partnerships with over 70 strategic universities across Europe, America, Asia, and Australia. Partner institutions include the University of Melbourne (Australia), Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), University of Hull (UK), Toulouse Business School (France), Hochschule Pforzheim (Germany), and Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), among others.
Another key feature of the IUP FEB UGM is the development of flagship courses within each study program. These courses reflect the program’s commitment to producing globally competent graduates. In the Management program, flagship courses include Business Ethics and Sustainability, Business Process Improvement and Innovation, and Customer Value Discovery, Creation, and Delivery. For Accounting, the courses are Sustainability Accounting, Data Analytics, and Enterprise Resource Planning. Meanwhile, the Economics program offers Environmental Economics, Economics of Education, and Crime Economics. These courses, with a strong emphasis on technology and environmental relevance, are designed to equip students with the skills needed to navigate today’s complex challenges.
“In addition, IUP FEB UGM provides internship opportunities with global companies and encourages students to participate in international conferences and competitions in countries such as Hong Kong, the Netherlands, and Singapore,” she added, emphasizing the program’s goal of producing graduates who are not only competitive but also capable of contributing on a global scale.
