On Tuesday (27/06), Prof. Dr. Supriyadi, M.Sc., C.A., Ak., officially confirmed as a professor in the field of Accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business. This event was held offline at the UGM Senate Hall and broadcast live via the Gadjah Mada University YouTube channel. Prof. Supriyadi graduated from the FEB UGM Accounting study program in 1988. Subsequently, he earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Accounting from California State University, Fresno, USA, in 1993 and earned a doctorate in accounting from the University of Kentucky, United States, in 1998. His inaugural speech at the inauguration ceremony was entitled "Challenges to Ethical Competence in Business in the Digital Age".

Overseeing the departure of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM) for Study Abroad, on Monday (26/6), the Global Relations and Mobility Office (GREAT) held a Pre-departure Training for Outgoing Students 2023 in the Audiovisual Room of FEB UGM. This event was attended by undergraduate study program students taking the Double Degree, Exchange, and IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards) programs in 2023 and beyond.

The big family of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is feeling deep sorrow because one of its best professors, Prof. Sri Adiningsih, Ph.D., M.Sc., has passed away. Prof. Sri breathed her last at dr. Sardjito on Saturday, 17 June 2023, at 18.37 WIB, at the age of 62. The Consolation Service for the deceased was held on Sunday (18/06) from 08.00-11.00 WIB at the PUKJ Yogyakarta Funeral Home. After the Consolation Service was held, all UGM members paid their last respects to the deceased Prof. Sri at the Balairung UGM. This event was attended by Prof. Boediono, Ph.D. (Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia from 2009-2014), Ir. Budi Karya Sumadi (Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia for 2019-2024), Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) leaders, UGM leaders and academics, and the deceased's family.

On Friday (9/6), the Master of Development Economics (MEP) Study Program, Faculty of Economics adn Business UGM held the 28th MEP FEB UGM Anniversary Celebration. This event was held offline at the MEP FEB UGM Building. Some of the FEB UGM academic communities also attended this thanksgiving event, including Faculty Leaders, Departments, Study Programs, Lecturers, Office of the Head of FEB Administration, Head of FEB Head of Section, MEPVAGAMA, KAFEGAMA MEP, Professional Staff, and MEP Students. The event began with the singing of the Indonesia Raya and the Gadjah Mada Hymn together by the audience.

Friday (9/06), the Master of Science and Doctoral Study Program (MD) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a public lecture on transfer pricing. Conducted through the Zoom Meetings platform, this lecture was presented by Dr. Yadyn Palebangan, S.H., M.H. (Head of the East Luwu District Prosecutor's Office, South Sulawesi) and Dr. Dian Kartika Rahajeng, S.E., M.Sc. (Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, FEB UGM). The session began with an explanation by Dr. Yadyn about transfer pricing as a corporate instrument in money laundering.
