On Friday (25/03) and (01/04), the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM held a Seminar of the Center for Public Sector and Taxation Studies (PSST) 2022 with the theme "Accounting Issues in Higher Education: Corporations, Autonomy, and Agency." The seminar was held online through Zoom Meetings platform and live stream on Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis YouTube channel. There were three speakers present at the seminar, Rosaline Tandiono, Ph.D., as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Communication at Binus University International, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, Ak., CA., as Lecturer of the Department of Accounting and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, and Budi Waluyo, Ph.D., as Lecturer and Deputy Director of Student Affairs at STAN (State Finance Polytechnic).

During this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, the virtual world has become much busier than ever before. This has happened as a result of more and more people having turned to using their gadgets and computers as a means of survival in order to substitute various in-person activities. These changes in society have had an impact on economic development by accelerating its digital transformation. Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), along with the Indonesia Fintech Society (IFSoc), supported by Grab and OVO held a public lecture webinar and panel discussion on Tuesday (08/03). The public lecture and panel discussion was themed "Heading to G20 Indonesia 2022 Presidency" with a specific topic discussing the "Digitalization of MSMEs: Driving Force for Digital Ecosystems & Democratization of the Indonesian Economy." On Monday (07/3), the Master of Management Study Program FEB UGM was visited by the Norwegian Ambassador of ASEAN, HE Kjell Tormod Pettersen. During the visit, Tormod also delivered a public lecture to 23 students who passed the selection of the ASEAN Master of Sustainable Management program from eight different countries, six people from Indonesia, with the rest coming from Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia.

On Tuesday (22/02), the Center of Microeconomics Research and Dashboard FEB UGM launched its second program called Meet The Expert. This program invited various experts in microeconomics topics and discussed current issues from an economic perspective. The first Meet the Expert series discussed the perspective of economics in viewing the polemic of Old Age Security (JHT) in BPJS Employment and the current state of development of social protection policies for workers in Indonesia.
