CGCG's Accounting Training (CAT), is a flagship program of the Center for Good Corporate Governance (CGCG) that is intended to provide a training on basic accounting. CAT is a breakthrough in learning accounting, which is expected to facilitate the understanding and enrich the treasures of thought for users of accounting knowledge.

- Understanding the basic concepts of accounting
- Journalizing proficient in various types of transactions
- Advanced prepare financial statements
- Able to operate accounting learning software

- Nine meetings and one exam, 1.5 hours each meetings

Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Gadjah Mada through the Research and Training of Economics and Business (P2EB) and IFRS Centre of Excellence in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers will conduct an International Training: "Training for Trainers" IFRS and the preparation of Accounting Dictionary of Indonesia, on December January 17-22, 2011, held at BRI Auditorium Room Lt.3, MSI and Doctoral Program Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Brief Description
Convergence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) carries a wide impact on the development of accounting in Indonesia, both in practice and academic. This affects the standard theory of convergence of accounting in Indonesia, which in turn have an impact on changes in the financial statements of entities. Moreover, the dominance of practitioners Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) to make adaptations IFRS almost without filtration. On the other hand, differences in language and interpretation problems in a variety of accounting standards is also the urgency and challenge in Indonesia.
In response, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada through Research and Training of Economics and Business (P2EB) and IFRS Centre of Excellence in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers organize international training entitled "Training for Trainers" IFRS and the preparation of Indonesia Accounting Dictionary. This training aims to provide a precise and profound understanding of IFRS. In this event, participants also had the opportunity to become contributors to the drafting of Accounting Dictionary of Indonesia, which will be used as guidance in interpreting the language of accounting.

This workshop is a response to the challenges universities to translate the government's triple-track strategy: pro-growth, pro-jobs, pro-poor and development towards a more just and prosperous nation.
The workshop will introduce the Innovative Entrepreneurship Learning Triangle model that emphasizes three major aspects of learning is cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. These three aspects of this learning will be outlined in a three-tiered approach to learning that will make students knowledgeable about entrepreneurship, develop entrepreneurial attitude, and have expertise in entrepreneurship. This workshop is designed to meet the learning needs of entrepreneurial and innovative use for lecturer of entrepreneurship courses, management courses in universities and observers of entrepreneurship education in Indonesia.
After attending the workshop, participants are expected to understand the stages of learning, develop entrepreneurship curriculum subjects which are in line with the development of entrepreneurship, preparing teaching materials, and to develop evaluation instruments.
