Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA., congratulated the graduates on successfully completing their undergraduate studies. He emphasized that graduation is not merely a celebration of academic achievement but also marks the beginning of a new journey in both professional and personal life.

“FEB UGM is proud to have been part of your academic journey, and we believe you will carry our alma mater’s name to even greater heights,” he stated.

During the ceremony, Didi also recognized several graduates who have excelled at national and international levels. Among them was Hayfaza Nayottama Auliarachim (Management 2021), who secured first place in the UNJ International Stock Portfolio Analysis Competition 2023. Ahmad Zidan Muzaki (Accounting 2021) won first place in the 23rd International Stock Portfolio Analysis Competition 2023, while Heny Rohmawati (Accounting 2021) won first place in the same competition in 2024. Didi also commended the perseverance of scholarship recipients who demonstrated resilience and dedication throughout their academic journey. In this graduation period, there were seven recipients of the KIP-K and Bidikmisi scholarships, as well as one Business student who received the KAFEGAMA 89 scholarship.

“If you notice changes in your children, understand that it is part of their learning process—one that helps them think critically, view reality objectively, and remain courteous. This transformation ensures that they become not only intelligent individuals but also compassionate ones who can critically assess social issues,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of KAFEGAMA, Dodit Wiweko Probojakti, encouraged graduates to continue contributing to society while upholding the reputation of their alma mater. He emphasized that graduation is not the end of their journey but the beginning of a new chapter, where competition is fiercer and challenges more complex.

“Never stop learning and growing. Continue to innovate and contribute to the progress of our nation. KAFEGAMA serves as a platform for FEB UGM graduates to dedicate themselves further and make meaningful contributions to their alma mater and the country,” he stated.

The ceremony concluded with remarks from the best overall graduate, Akbar Rahul Muafan, followed by a speech from a representative of the graduates’ parents, Untung Sugiharto, father of Ahmad Zidan Muzaki.
