The International Doctorate in Business (IDB) program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, is led by a distinguished group of professors with outstanding academic and professional credentials. They are dedicated to guiding doctoral candidates in producing research that contributes meaningfully to the advancement of business knowledge and practice.
Professor in Strategic Management and Human Resources. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Monash University in 1998 and his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Curtin University, Australia, in 2008. His expertise includes human resource management and strategic management from a behavioral perspective.
Professor in Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility. He obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University, USA, in 1991 and earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of the Philippines at Diliman in 2001. His research focuses on marketing and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Professor in Marketing. He completed his Master of Business Administration studies at Northwestern State University, USA, in 1984 and earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, in 1992. His expertise focuses on consumer behavior and marketing strategy.
Professor in Psychology and Organizational Behavior. He completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Western Michigan University, USA, and earned his Doctor of Philosophy from Curtin University, Australia. His expertise is in organizational behavior and human resource management.
Professor in Corporate Finance. He completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Temple University, USA, in 1994 and earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Rhode Island, USA, in 2001. His expertise includes business valuation and corporate finance.
Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She studied Siviløkonom at the University of Agder Norway, in 2002, continued with Cand. Merc. degree at Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) Norway in 2003, and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Groningen, Netherlands, in 2010. Her research interests include innovation, entrepreneurship, business location decision-making, knowledge management, operations management, and quality management.
Professor in Corporate Finance. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Western Carolina University, USA, in 1993 and completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, Austria, in 2004. His expertise includes corporate finance and international finance. Outside of academic activities, he has served as Deputy Coordinating Minister for Education and Religious Affairs at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and as a member of the Board of Commissioners in various State-Owned Enterprises.
Professor in Finance. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Scranton, USA, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of the Philippines at Manila. His research focuses on investment management and capital markets.
Professor in Strategic Management and Innovation. He obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University, USA, in 1993 and earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2011. His expertise includes asset management (realty), entrepreneurship, project and program management, innovation management, and supply/demand-chain management.
