FEB UGM Dean Releases 176 Postgraduates, One Achieving a Perfect GPA 4.00

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), celebrated the graduation of 176 postgraduate students in the second period of the academic year 2024/2025. These graduates participated in a graduation ceremony led by the Rector of UGM, Prof. Dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D., and hundreds of other graduates at the Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) UGM on Wednesday, January 23, 2025. Graduates then participated in farewell ceremonies at their respective programs.

The Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., C.A. congratulated the graduates on completing their studies at FEB UGM. He encouraged them to appreciate the journey of life with integrity and enthusiasm.

“Remain humble, keep learning, and never stop dreaming. Remember that success is not the end goal but a journey to be taken with integrity, honesty, and hard work,” he said.

Prof. Didi emphasized that graduation is not the end of the journey but a gateway for graduates to make even greater contributions to society, the nation, and the country.

“Your journey is not over. You are about to begin a new chapter in your life. We believe that with the knowledge and experience you have gained from UGM, you can make a positive contribution to society, the nation, and the country,” he said during the graduation ceremony for MM graduates on Tuesday evening, January 22, 2025, at the MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta campus.

In this graduation period, FEB UGM awarded degrees to 14 graduates of the Master of Accounting program, 16 graduates of the Master of Development Economics program, 66 graduates of the Master of Management program at the Yogyakarta campus, and 55 graduates of the Master of Management program at the Jakarta campus. In addition, four graduates completed the Master of Science in Accounting Program, 12 graduates completed the Master of Science in Management Program, one graduate earned a Doctorate in Management, and four graduates earned a Doctorate in Accounting.

Ilham Budi Kurniawan achieved the highest cumulative GPA from the Master of Management program at the Yogyakarta campus with a perfect GPA of 4.00. Meanwhile, the fastest completion time was achieved by Dyah Keisworini from the Master of Management Program at the Yogyakarta Campus, who completed her studies in 1 year, 2 months, and 0 days.
