Embracing the growth, opportunities, and challenges of the Non-Bank Financial Industry (IKNB) in Indonesia, Friday (21/10) Laboratory of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) in collaboration with PT Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) held a Seminar and Lecture General (SinarKU) entitled “The Role of the Insurance Industry and Pension Fund for the Indonesian Economy” at the Learning Center Auditorium FEB UGM. The event was started by the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and FEB UGM Alumni, Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D. This event invited four speakers, namely Ibrahim Kholilul as Senior Research Associate at IFG Progress, Nada Serpina as Research Associate at IFG Progress, M. Alvin Prabowosunu as Research Associate at IFG Progress, and Rimawan Pradiptyo as Head of the Department of Economics FEB UGM.

Departing from the confusion of teaching lecturers who just returned after receiving Master's or Doctoral education abroad to seek loans with the aim of property ownership, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held an exhibition entitled "KPR Expo FEB UGM" for the first time and a seminar entitled "Financial Planning for Property Investment" on Friday (21/10). The event is open to the public, but especially for lecturers, education staff, and also students at UGM who are interested in owning property and want to learn about property investment and credit lending.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) and the Vocational School UGM collaborated with PMO Kartu Prakerja held a training titled as Soft Skill Upgrade Public Lecture with the theme “How Government Can Achieve More with Less Through Innovation” on Friday (14/10) at at the FEB UGM Learning Center. The training, which is open to UGM students from all levels, aims to improve students' abilities and competencies through the Kartu Prakerja program.

On Friday (14/10) a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) was signed between the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) with several Vocational High Schools (SMK) regarding the application of Debit Credit Information System Applications for Education (SIDEK-Edu) in the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. The event was held offline at the Kertanegara Room FEB UGM. The Vocational High Schools that attended included SMK Dr. Soetomo Surabaya, SMKN 1 Depok Sleman, SMKN 1 Tempel Sleman, SMKN 1 Godean Sleman, SMK Koperasi Yogyakarta, and SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Turi Sleman.

On Thursday (5/10) Master of Accounting Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (Maksi FEB UGM) held a public lecture entitled "Investigative Examination in the Context of Calculating State Losses in Cases of Alleged Corruption Crimes". Center for Accounting and Regulatory Studies (PAKAR) Accounting Laboratory, Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) in collaboration with the Djalaluddin Pane Waqf Foundation held a National Seminar with the theme “Philanthropy and Empowerment through Islamic Social Finance” on Tuesday (27 /09). The seminar was held at the Auditorium Lt. 8 Learning Building FEB UGM and attended by students, lecturers, researchers, practitioners, and the general public. The seminar on this occasion aims to disseminate knowledge related to Islamic Social Finance through philanthropic practices and various forms of endeavor to introduce the importance of waqf and zakat.
