The 4th Management's Forum: Sharing webinar series entitled "Adapting ZMET to online context: Exploring the mental map of marginalized society during the pandemic" presented by the Management Laboratory of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM was held on Friday (11/06). In this 4th series, two special speakers were present, namely B.M Purwanto, Ph.D. and also Rokhima Rostiani, M.Mgmt. who will share about using the ZMET method in an online context. ZMET itself is an acronym for the Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique, which is a method for searching for truth in the subconscious by exploring the thought processes and behavior of participants.

On Tuesday (8/6), the Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Gadjah Mada (MAKSI FEB UGM) in collaboration with the Supreme Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) held a Public Lecture with the theme "Investigative Examination Methodology". Public lectures are held online through the Zoom Meetings platform. This event was moderated by Singgih Wijayana, M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM. The resource persons for this public lecture are Dr. Agus Joko Pramono, M.Acc., Ak., CA., CPA., CSFA., CFrA. As Deputy Chairperson of BPK RI, and Dr. Heri Subowo as Auditor of BPK RI.

The Accounting Laboratory, Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM together with the Master of Science and Doctoral Study Program (MD) FEB UGM held a Webinar Series with the theme "Philosophy and Approaches to Accounting and Business Research". The introduction and understanding of the philosophy and research approaches that are important for researchers in conducting research are the essence of the series. This Webinar series consists of 7 series of discussion sessions with 7 different topics in each session which has been carried out starting from April 9, 2021. On Friday (4/06) the last series of this Webinar Series was successfully held by bringing the topic of critical realism paradigms to discussion.

This is the essence of holding a webinar series with the theme "Philosophy and Approaches to Accounting and Business Research" by the Accounting Laboratory, Department of Accounting, FEB UGM together with the Master of Science and Doctoral (MD) Study Program of FEB UGM which consists of 7 series and discusses various different paradigms for each session. On Friday (28/05), the sixth session of the webinar series was successfully held discussing critical paradigm as the topic.

Payment system technology, both from banking and non-banking products, is growing rapidly and is leading to full implementation of digital services. Various culinary shops or transportation and expedition services, have started to offer payment systems with the application of digital technology that promises efficiency in terms of time and security to create transaction convenience. Along with this increase, digital financial system applications or what is more commonly called financial technology (fintech) are currently competing to offer convenience and completeness of features to meet millennial financial needs in an all-digital era. In fact, fintech is predicted to become a bank competitor and become a financial future that will fill the millennial days amidst many increasingly tech-savvy societies. The rapid development of fintech cannot be avoided, banks are required to always innovate in terms of digital services so that they are not eroded by the development of fintech.

Online Gathering with Economics (SambangIE) is a seminar series held by the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) to provide information about alumni of Economics and introduce students to various professions that can be achieved after graduation. SambangIE is held primarily to prepare for careers and skill sets that must be built to prepare for a competitive labor market that requires a qualified skill set. In this second series, SambangIE discussed getting to know the Economics Alumni Profession in the Financial Sector. Therefore, SambangIE on Friday (07/05) raised the theme "Knowing Alumni of Economics # 2: Profession in the Financial Sector", which on this occasion will be spoiled for various insights from the scope of finance, namely from the scope of Banking, Financial Technology(Fintech), and the Capital Market. The moderator who guided the event this time was Esa A. Syahid, Academic Assistant at the UGM Department of Economics. The speakers who will review the seminar topic are Etta Rusdiana (IE 2004) as Senior Business Analyst at Kresna Graha Investama Tbk, Ahmad Ferdian (IE 2005) as VP Trade & Supply Chain Product at Bank BTPN, and Marcella Wijayanti (IE 2006) as VP Business Public Sector Development and Partnerships, Link Aja. The three speakers were Alumni of Economics, FEB UGM.
