Corruption has been determined as an extraordinary crime, even abusing norms and rules stipulated by the state. Despite prevention and firm measures against it, corruption practices are still rampant today. This is because there is the habit and permissiveness that makes corruption hard to eradicate. These issues emerged in the International Short Course on Psychology (ISCP) titled Corruption, Culture and Psychology Morality: from Research to Policy at Faculty of Psychology. The event presented keynote speakers: observer of corruption criminal economy, Dr. Rimawan Pradiptyo, Psychologist from UGM, Dr. Kwartarini Wahyu Yunarti and lecturer, Galang Lufiyanto, M.Psi., Ph.D.

Last Saturday (14/10), alumni of FEB UGM year '89 held a workshop as well as training session leading a theme "Confidence in Entering Working Environment: Strategies in Arranging Attractive CV and Success in Work Interview". This event was cordially welcomed by the enthusiasm of dozens of students who were attending at Room U212 FEB UGM. This event was begun by speech from Prof. Mahfud Sholihin, Ph.D. as a representative from faculty and Bismo Prayoga, S.E., M.M. as a representative from alumni of FEB UGM year '89.

Around 76 percent of National Revenue and Expenditure Budget is obtained from tax. However, for the past seven years from 2009-2015, the tax revenue never achieves 100 percent from the set target.
All this while, the level of tax compliance (formal and material) is still low. On the other side, there are many economic potentials that have yet to be utilized.

Faculty of Economics and Business UGM held Training of Trainers program for the syllabus and teaching development of business sustainability education in business schools. This program is a collaboration between FEB UGM and United Nations University (UNU). The dean of FEB UGM, Dr. Eko Suwardi, opened this ToT program that were held for two days from 9th to 10th of October 2017. During this program, 26 lecturers from various Faculty of Economics and Businesses in Indonesia were actively participating in this program.

Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) turns 62 in 2017. Established since 19 September 1955, FEB UGM has strong commitment to create the best graduates every year. FEB UGM always attempts to self-improve and achieve both national and international accomplishment. The 62nd DIES NATALIS (Anniversary) FEB UGM major theme is "Meeting Global Challenges with Local Wisdom to Serve the Community". Several activities have been held to celebrate this anniversary. Both academic and social events have been organized to promote local wisdom. Social activities such as the distribution of clean water in Gunungkidul, health check for community, and others have been run successfully. Traditional events held to celebrate the anniversary as the form of local wisdom practice and community service.
