Seven UGM students have started a student exchange in Adelaide, spending one semester at the University of Adelaide on scholarships funded by the Australian Government. Each student received a $5,000 Endeavour grant.

Faculty Library of FEB UGM has issued a new membership card that can be used to obtain library services within the Faculty Library consist of FEB Undergraduate Program Library, Master of Accounting Library, Master of Economics of Development Library, Master of Management Library and Profession Accounting Library. Use of this new card has been in effect since June 1st, 2011, for all FEB students who are interested to have a new membership card please contact the Library Circulation Unit 1 FEB UGM. This card is valid for undergraduate student, graduate students, doctorate students, and Professional Accounting student of Faculty of Economics and Business UGM with the active period until graduation.
Requirements that must be considered is the Official Photo Passport in digital format that can be uploaded trough the Academics http://academics.feb.ugm.ac.id (account login respectively).

UGM Economist from Master of Economic Development (MEP) urged the government to merge the Law No. 32/2004 on Regional Government and Law No. 33/2004 on Fiscal Balance between Central and Local Government. This is necessary because of the disharmony between central and local institutions on allocation of funds, the rampant legal and corruption cases afflicting government officials, and social welfare which is not achieved optimally.

Masters of Management Program (MM), Faculty of Economics and Business UGM plants 7250 tree seedlings in Gondang, Umbulharjo Village, Cangkringan District, Sunday (15/5). The tree seedlings assistance consists of 6000 sengon seeds, 502 mahogany seeds, 465 munggur seeds, 33 tamarind Java seeds, 200 stinky bean seeds, and 50 durian seeds. In addition, 8750 vegetable seedlings in form of polybags, such as chili, eggplant, tomatoes, cabbage, and bean, each of them in a packet of 1750 seeds and manure are delivered to temporary housing in Plosokerep.
