The Microeconomics Research and Dashboard will host a Lecture Series on Sports Economics. Professor Robert Simmons (Department of Economics, Lancaster University, United Kingdom) will deliver a series of lectures covering key topics in sports economics, including salary caps and labor market regulation, player salaries, women in sports, team owner objectives and competitive balance, sports broadcasting, and sports participation.
