The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), was established in 1955 as a result of the reorganization of the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Social Sciences.

FEB UGM has approximately 5,500 students and is supported by more than 200 academic staff and professionals. The faculty offers academic programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, with a wide range of study concentrations, including Monetary Economics, International Economics, Public Economics, Development Economics, Finance, Marketing, Strategic Management and Human Resources, Knowledge and Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Accounting Information Systems, Auditing, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Public Sector Accounting and Taxation, as well as Islamic Accounting.

Academic programs are administered by the Departments of Accounting, Economics, and Management. Each department is supported by highly qualified faculty members, the majority of whom hold doctoral degrees from reputable universities abroad.

All study programs at FEB UGM have been accredited at the “Excellent” level by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA). FEB UGM is widely recognized as one of the best institutions in Indonesia for its strong academic profile, resources, systems, and educational processes.
