Doctoral Program

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), offers Doctoral Programs designed to develop students’ research capabilities and foster academic excellence. - Doctor of Science in Accounting (Dr.)
This program emphasizes a critical understanding of accounting theories, concepts, and research methodologies, as well as the enhancement of both the quantity and quality of accounting research. It is conducted in accordance with the principles of integrity, academic freedom, and high standards of academic ethics. - Doctor of Science in Economics (Dr.)
The Doctor of Economics program emphasizes an in-depth understanding of economic theories, concepts, and research methods. Research development focuses on using micro-level data to reduce aggregation bias, with an emphasis on advancing knowledge through microeconometrics. The program also promotes cutting-edge approaches, such as randomized and laboratory experiments, which are highly relevant for evidence-based decision-making, particularly in policy analysis and social program evaluation. - Doctor of Science in Management (Dr.)
This program aims to produce graduates with comprehensive mastery of management science in their chosen specializations, along with strong academic and professional competencies to serve as university lecturers or hold strategic roles in society. Graduates are also expected to contribute to advancing knowledge through independent, in-depth research with a broad academic scope.
