Students who have completed their thesis revision (declared to have passed the thesis defense) and passed the theoretical (comprehensive) examination may proceed with the registration process for graduation clearance (yudisium) and commencement. The Academic Office of FEB UGM regularly publishes graduation-related information through the Sintesis and Simaster portals. Students are required to obtain a library clearance certificate from the UGM Library by uploading their thesis independently via the website: https://unggah.etd.ugm.ac.id. The upload process must be carried out entirely by the student.
Requirements for Graduation Clearance (Yudisium)
- Students must have passed all courses with a minimum GPA of 2.00 and a grade of C or higher in each course.
- Students must have passed the thesis examination without requiring further revisions and passed the comprehensive examination, and their independent upload (ETD) to the UGM Library must be verified in the Simaster graduation clearance system.
- Students must submit proof of thesis submission (PDF) and clearance of book loans from both the FEB Library and the UGM Library.
- Prospective graduates must complete the GAMA Co-Brand Card application and fill out the exit survey via https://simaster.ugm.ac.id.
- Prospective graduates must register for graduation clearance through the Simaster portal and fill in all required data, including name, address, thesis title, national ID number (NIK), and upload ID card (for Indonesian citizens) or passport (for foreign students), as well as a high school diploma/equivalent.

- A color photo with a white background
- Maximum size 2 MB with a 3:4 ratio, uploaded in JPEG format
- Dress code for men: white shirt, black suit, and tie (not wearing the alma mater jacket)
- Dress code for women: white shirt and black blazer (no Almamater jacket). Dress code for women wearing hijab: white shirt, black blazer (not alma mater jacket), black hijab tucked into the shirt
- The position in the photo must be upright, facing forward, with both ears visible for those not wearing a hijab
- The photo must not include glasses, masks/face coverings, or any object obstructing the face
- The photo must be clear and not blurry
- The photo must not be a scan or a reproduction from a smartphone

- Academic staff will verify the submitted forms and uploaded documents, followed by approval from DPP UGM. Prospective graduates will be able to register for commencement through Simaster once all stages of the graduation clearance (yudisium) process and required graduate data submissions have been completed.
- Verification of personal data, such as name, place of birth, and date of birth, must match exactly those stated on the latest diploma (capitalization applies only at the beginning of each word). Example: Bejo Narimo, not BEJO NARIMO or bejo narimo. If there are any changes or discrepancies in the name on the high school diploma, the prospective graduate must attach an official statement letter from the originating high school.
- Prospective graduates must return their Student ID Card (KTM) either by mailing it or by submitting it directly to the FEB UGM Academic Office. The submission period is from the 1st to the 25th of January, April, July, and October.
- Undergraduate commencement ceremonies are conducted online. Provisions for offline ceremony procedures will be further regulated through circulars issued by the Directorate of Education and Teaching of UGM. The official circular regarding the implementation of undergraduate/diploma commencement is issued periodically, one month prior to the opening of graduation registration. Students can access this information through Sintesis and Simaster.
- One of the requirements for participation in the commencement ceremony is the submission of the AcEPT score administered by PPB UGM. However, during the pandemic period, submission of the AcEPT score is not mandatory.
- The documents to be submitted/sent to the Academic Office are as follows:
- Student ID Card (KTM)
- Library clearance certificate from the FEB Library
- Library clearance certificate from the UGM Library (downloaded from https://unggah.etd.ugm.ac.id)
- A screenshot of the graduation registration from Simaster, sent via email to tugasakhir.feb@ugm.ac.id
- During the pandemic, the student toga rental service at Ditmawa UGM was unavailable. Prospective graduates may purchase graduation attire (toga) through KOPMA UGM or via the KOPMA UGM online store at http://shopee.co.id/gamashirt.
- The faculty graduation send-off ceremony (tasyakuran) is held online on the scheduled commencement date. The FEB UGM Academic Office will send information regarding the graduation send-off ceremony via email.
- The graduation package, consisting of the diploma, transcript, and legalized copies of both, will be sent via courier/post to each graduate’s address. This distribution is organized by the Cooperation, Industry, and Alumni (KIA) Unit of FEB UGM.
