Team Tiramisu, a team from Undergraduate Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), consists of Dharmawan Santosa (Economics 2016) and Tarra Laurentia Santoso (Management-IUP 2017) was announced as the 2nd winner of Bachelor’s Journey in Management (BJM) 2019 on 2nd May 2019 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI).
Bachelor’s Journey in Management is a national management competition held by the Management Research Center of FEB UI. This year the case contributor was Pertamina Lubricants where the participants had to analyse and came up with the best solutions to increase customer loyalty in digital era. The competition itself was divided into two stages. The first stage was the preliminary round where students across Indonesia were required to do a paper submission containing their recommendations to the case. From all the submissions, 6 top teams were chosen and invited to do a final presentation in front of the judges consists of 3 practitioners from different fields and 1 lecturer from the Department of Management FEB UI.
The top 6 teams are ‘Beyond’ from Universitas Padjajaran, ‘Boutique’ from Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, ‘Corporate Pirates’ from School of Business and Management ITB, ‘E-Spirit’ from Universitas Indonesia, ‘Tiramisu’ from Universitas Gadjah Mada, and ‘Meners’ from Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
In the final round, the finalists presented their recommendation and ‘Tiramisu’ was announced as the 2nd winner of BJM UI 2019, with a very close score gap to ‘Corporate Pirates’ from School of Business and Management ITB.
