This year’s, World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum (WEIF) main theme is “Achieving the SDGs through Promoting Entrepreneurship & Innovation”. This forum is held on November 11 – November 13, 2019 in Manama, Bahrain. Being one of the world’s major forums makes WEIF have many insightful agendas. At least, there are two big events that were attended by delegates such as the 18th Arab Businessmen and Investors Conference 2019 (ABIC) and the Young Business Hub (YBH) Summit.

WEIF 2019 will promote and highlight the role of investment and innovation that have an impact on economic development and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The presence of this event will be a unique and important opportunity for the government, private sector, investors, academics, financial institutions, entrepreneurs and civil society from many countries in the world.

As one of the delegates, Samuel Silitonga made startup imart Indonesia (imart.co.id) which has business model in developing local SMEs in Indonesia. So far, imart has shown promising growth so it can be a positive consideration to be able to qualify as one of the startups participating in WEIF 2019. The world-class event atmosphere is also an important experience to penetrate the world. We could aiming for market access, external funding, and knowledge exchange. Overall, WEIF 2019 is the first step for imart to continue to improve itself, develop excellence, and fight for positive impact for Indonesia. The synergy of all relevant stakeholders will have an important role for the future development of imart Indonesia.
