Economist University of Gajah Mada (UGM) Rimawan Pradiptyo, PhD, was recently awarded "The Best Paper Award" for the field of economics in the Global Accounting, Finance and Economics Conference, held at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia from February 14-15, 2011.

Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) again held "Indonesian Young Researcher Electoral competition (PPRI) IX" for all Indonesian students aged 20-24 years. Presentation of the finalists second race took place on Monday, November 22, 2010 at Hotel Bumi Wiyata, Depok, West Java, peaked at 09.00 am on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 19:00 in the Widya Graha Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Jakarta.

UGM team 'Kalingga' won the World Champion 2009, in the Business Game Competition "Trust by Danone", held in Paris, French, 2 – 4 April, 2009. The team consists of 5 UGM students, and 3 of them are FEB students.
