FEB UGM QS World Ranking

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) has again been included in the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS WUR) by Subject 2025. FEB UGM’s academic disciplines have earned recognition and high global rankings.

In the Business and Management Studies category, FEB UGM successfully maintained its position in the global range of 201-205 and rose to first place in Indonesia. Meanwhile, in Accounting and Finance, FEB UGM maintained its position in the 151-200 global range and ranked third in Indonesia. In the Economics and Econometrics category, FEB UGM was ranked in the 252-300 worldwide range and also ranked third nationally.

The Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., C.A., expressed his gratitude for this achievement. He stated that the results reflect FEB UGM’s strong commitment to continuously improving education quality. In addition, this recognition is a testament to the global recognition of FEB UGM’s academic excellence.

“This achievement is the result of the collective hard work of the entire academic community of FEB UGM in its efforts to sustain the quality of education,” he said on Wednesday (April 16, 2025).

The QS WUR by Subject rankings relies on ten key indicators: academic reputation, citations per faculty, employer reputation, employment outcomes, international faculty ratio, international research network, international student ratio, international student diversity, faculty-student ratio, and sustainability. FEB UGM’s consistent performance across these indicators contributed significantly to this achievement.

As a business school accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and certified “Unggul” by LAMEMBA, FEB UGM maintains a strong commitment to continuous improvement in educational quality, research, and partnerships to advance the disciplines of accounting, economics, and management.

FEB UGM’s results in the 2025 QS WUR by Subject rankings are also supported by ongoing improvements in the quality of teaching and learning on campus. Students benefit from the guidance of 142 faculty members, including 28 professors, to strengthen the competitiveness of graduates. Curriculum adjustments are made on an ongoing basis to ensure the relevance of education to societal needs and industry demands. FEB UGM also provides hybrid learning facilities through the Learning and Academic Production & Public Relations (LAMP-PR) unit.

To enhance research quality and publication output, FEB and UGM Central Office provide support through research grants, organization of international seminars, and collaborative research and publication initiatives.
