FEB UGM Introduces 14 Study Programs in Virtual Information Session

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), once again welcomes prospective students to explore its study programs through the Virtual Information Session. The event, held online via Zoom on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, is designed to offer in-depth insights into program options, curriculum, and career opportunities for graduates.

Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., opened the online session by expressing his enthusiasm for hosting this virtual information session.

“As a business school accredited internationally by AACSB and nationally by LAMEMBA, we believe that FEB UGM is the right place for all of you. We are supported by 146 faculty members of outstanding quality, integrity, and competence. In addition, we continuously strive to develop innovative learning methods, create an inclusive environment, and provide comprehensive facilities for students,” he said in his opening remarks.

After the opening session, the event continued with presentations by the Program Directors (Kaprodi) and Program Secretaries (Sekprodi), accompanied by the Admissions team. In this session, the speakers provided insights into the programs, the admissions process, student achievements, opportunities for personal development during the program, and career prospects after graduation. Participants were also able to ask questions to clarify the information presented.

The virtual information session featured fourteen programs at various academic levels, including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. The undergraduate programs included accounting, economics, and management. The master’s programs consisted of the Master of Science in Accounting, Master of Science in Economics, and Master of Science in Management. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was offered at the Jakarta and Yogyakarta campuses. Other master’s programs included the Master of Development Economics (MEP) and the Master of Accounting and Professional Accountants. At the doctoral level, FEB UGM offered the Doctoral Program in Accounting, the Doctoral Program in Economics, and the Doctoral Program in Management.

Through this virtual information session, FEB UGM aims to reach a broader range of prospective students and provide them with a clear understanding of the admissions process and details of the programs they are interested in pursuing.
