National Chengchi University (NCCU) Taiwan visited the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) for benchmarking regarding academic and learning facilities which was held at FEB UGM on Tuesday (7/2). From NCCU, this visit was attended by Robin K. Chou as Chair of the Office of Doctoral Programs College of Commerce, Yenn-Ru Chen as Professor Chair of the Department of Finance, Yu-Chien Chang as Associate Professor Chair of Graduate Institute of Technology, Innovation and Intellectual Property Management, Jyun-Ying Fu as Assistant Professor Department of Business Administration, and Yen-Chun Lin as Administrative Specialist College of Commerce. Meanwhile, from FEB UGM, this visit was attended by Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni, Prof., Dr., Eduardus Tandelilin, M.B.A., as Chair Master of Management Study Program (Jakarta Campus), Amin Wibowo, S.E., M.B.A., as Chair of the Master of Management Study Program, Ph.D., Hengki Purwanto, S.E., M.A., Bayu Sutikno S.E., Cand.Merc., Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, and Luluk Lusiantoro, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., as head of the Global Relations and Mobility Office (GREAT) FEB UGM.
The visit began in the Kartanegara Room with two sessions. At the beginning of the first session, Gumilang explained updates regarding FEB UGM. The visit was followed by an update on the Master of Management (MM) and Postgraduate study programs by Professor Ted and Professor Amin. The explanation was then continued by Dr. Luluk about GREAT and FEB UGM mobility. The presentation continued from the NCCU side, Robin started the presentation with a brief update of the PhD program at NCCU, a brief introduction to NCCU regarding the places and accreditation achieved by NCCU, as well as an introduction to the team. Session one ended with an interactive question and answer, one of the questions by Amin was regarding EFMD accreditation which had been achieved by NCCU. After session one, NCCU was invited for a campus tour in the area of FEB UGM.
After the campus tour, this visit continued with a second session in the Kartanegara room. This session began with a presentation by Hengki and Bayu and an introduction of the young members of FEB UGM. From NCCUC, Robin explained an information session on doctoral programs, campus facilities, and the structure of the NCCU program which mostly follows the system in the United States. The explanation was continued by Yenn-Ru, regarding the PhD program at the Department of Finance, Department of Business Administration, as well as the Graduate Institute of Technology, Innovation and Intellectual Property Management. Session two ends with a chit chat interview with the PhD candidate. The end of session two ended the NCCU visit to FEB UGM.
