BEM FEB UGM Holds EB Awards as Recognition Event for Outstanding Students

The Student Executive Board (BEM) of FEB UGM successfully held the Economics and Business Awards (EB Awards) 2024 on November 22, 2024, on the 8th floor of the FEB UGM Learning Building. The EB Awards is a program under the Faculty of Science of BEM FEB UGM, which aims to recognize outstanding individuals in various academic and non-academic fields.
The Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FEB UGM, Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., welcomed the organization of the EB Awards 2024 and congratulated and appreciated all the nominees. "Never tire of striving for excellence; I will see you at the top!" he encouraged.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of EB Awards, Sarah Azizah Wiratama, explained that the event was organized to show appreciation for FEB UGM students who have achieved in academic and non-academic fields. The event aims to motivate the students to continue to create and excel.
A similar hope was expressed by the Vice Chairman of BEM FEB UGM, Mohammad Rifqi, who hopes that through this event, FEB UGM can continue to produce individuals who can contribute and positively impact society.
Award Winners
The EB Awards 2024 were given to FEB students in different categories. Among them, the Golden Achievement 2024 Award was given to a student with exceptional achievements, awarded to I Gusti Ayu Maresta A. P. P. (Economics 2021).
The Golden Athlete Award went to Ardiyanto Wiryawan Widyatmaka Pracaya (Accounting 2023) for his achievements in equestrian sports. The Expressive Dreamer Award went to Khayran Nayandra Sembiring Gurukinayan (Management 2023) for her achievements in visual design. The Gatsby Legacy Award went to Amanda Divanty (Management 2022) for her entrepreneurial success in founding five companies, including Portophoto, PASPA, Milkymoo, Cheerios, Bites, and Mentaiku Dimsum. Finally, the Roaring Future Legend Award was presented to Alan Putra Wijaya for his active involvement in various non-academic activities.
In addition, the Highest GPA Awards were presented to students from each program and class for achieving the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). In the Management Program, the winner for the Class of 2021 was Firdausi Adiwijaya with a CGPA of 3.94, the winners for the Class of 2022 were Darwin Tandjo and Fransiska Anindya Putri Perwitasari with a CGPA of 3.93, and the winner for the Class of 2023 was Fadila Az-Zahra with a CGPA of 3.88.
In the accounting program, the class of 2021 winner was Muh. Ridho Kurniawan Saadi with a CGPA of 3.95, the class of 2022 winner was Cynthia Fransisca with a CGPA of 3.94, and the class of 2023 winner was Keyra Audrey Annabelle Christian with a CGPA of 3.95.
In the Economics program, the 2021 class winner was Grace Zefanya Octovella Situmorang with a CGPA of 3.95, the 2022 class winner was Aushaaf Rafif Keane Pribadi with a CGPA of 3.90, and the 2023 class winner was Dionisius Maleaki Pinilih with a CGPA of 3.93.
Student Election Results
In addition to the awards, the Student General Elections (PEMILWA) results were announced, and the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Department of Student Associations and Student Organizations were elected. The Chairperson of the Gadjah Mada Accounting Student Association (IMAGAMA) was Tanaya Ransi Daniswara (Accounting 2023) with 153 votes out of 204. The Chairman and Vice Chairman of Gadjah Mada Management Student Association (IKAMMA) were Abednego Pangaribuan (Management 2023), Dandi Tryan. A. (Management 2023) as Vice Chairman 1 and Yulianti. N. (Management 2023) as Vice Chair 2 with 262 out of 406 votes.
The Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of the Economics Students Association (HIMIESPA) were Sulthan Faiq Yunizar (Economics 2023) as Chairperson, Farello Yudika Hendratmo (Economics 2023) as Vice-Chairperson 1, and Nabil Almadani (Economics 2023) as Vice-Chairperson 2, with 131 votes out of 186.
The Chair of the FEB UGM Student Representative Council (BPM) was Sabiq Muhammad Al-Ghozi (Economics 2023), with 369 votes out of 567. Finally, Syarief Kemalsyah Hariandja (Management 2023) won the FEB UGM Student Executive Board (BEM) with 394 out of 781 votes.
