
The Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) celebrated the graduation of 343 master and doctoral students during the postgraduate graduation ceremony for the 3rd period of the 2024/2025 academic year. The graduates had previously attended the University Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday (April 23, 2025) along with postgraduate students from other faculties.
The Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Ak., CA., thanked all graduates for completing their formal education at FEB UGM. He emphasized that the academic journey is never easy and often challenging.
“Your journey has not been easy as you have faced various academic, organizational, and personal challenges. However, you have reached this point through your resilience and outstanding commitment. You have not only earned a degree but also become part of a learning community that upholds integrity, cooperation, and contribution to the nation,” Didi said during the graduation ceremony of the Master of Management Program held at UGM MM Campus Yogyakarta on Tuesday evening (April 22, 2025). Meanwhile, the graduation ceremony for the Master of Development Economics, Accounting, and the Master of Science and Doctoral programs took place after the university-level procession on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
On this occasion, Prof. Didi reminded the graduates that this moment does not mark the end of their academic journey. Rather, graduation is the beginning of a new chapter.
“Remember that this degree is not the end but the beginning of a greater responsibility to apply the knowledge, values, and character you have developed during your studies. Be leaders who are adaptable, visionary, and full of integrity,” he concluded.
During this graduation period, FEB UGM awarded degrees to 11 graduates of the Master of Science in Accounting program, 20 graduates of the Master of Accounting program, three graduates of the Master of Science in Economics program, 19 graduates of the Master of Science in Management program, 25 graduates of the Master of Development Economics program, 115 graduates of the Master of Management program (Yogyakarta campus), and 141 graduates of the Master of Management program (Jakarta campus), including four international double degree students from the University of Oxford, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and Harvard Business School. FEB UGM also awarded Ph.D. degrees to 4 graduates in Management Science and one in Accounting Science.
Oryza Novianingtyas achieved the highest GPA in this graduation period from the Master of Management program with a perfect GPA of 4.00. She completed her studies in 2 years, 5 months, and 8 days at 34 years, 2 months, and 22 days. The youngest graduate was Ismar Maulana Kharie from the Master of Management program (Jakarta campus), who was 23 years old, 1 month, and 24 days old. Meanwhile, the shortest graduate was Novia Rathmaningrum from the Master of Management program, who completed her degree in just 1 year and 17 days.
