Three journals from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM) have successfully become recipients of the Journal Management Assistance Programme Towards Scopus Indexing and Improvement of UGM Journal Quartiles, part of the Enhancing Quality Education for International University Impacts and Recognition-World Class University or EQUITY WCU 2025/2026 programme.
The Journal of Indonesian Economy and Business (JIEB) and Gadjah Mada International Journal of Business (GAMAIJB) received assistance through the quartile improvement scheme. Next, the Journal of Leadership in Organizations (JLO) received assistance through the scheme towards Scopus indexing.
The Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni, Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., representing FEB UGM, expressed his appreciation to the Editorial Boards of the journals within FEB UGM, namely JIEB, GamaIJB, and JLO, which continue to strive for continuous improvement to enhance the quality of the journals. The faculty hopes that JIEB and GamaIJB will not only maintain their Scopus rankings but also improve them through better journal management and article quality.
“The faculty also hopes that JLO can achieve the best journal ranking in Sinta and lay the foundation for international indexing,” he added on Tuesday (23/12/2025)
JIEB is a journal intended as a medium for disseminating research results and scientific works in the fields of economics and business. This journal is published three times a year and is indexed by Scopus, EBSCO, EconLit (American Economic Association), ProQuest, and Google Scholar, as well as being accredited by Sinta 1.
GAMAIJB is a journal managed by the Master of Management Study Programme, Faculty of Economics and Business, UGM. The journal is published three times a year and publishes research results in the field of business. It is indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, SINTA, BUSINESS SOURCE COMPLETE (EBSCO), INFORMIT (RMIT Publishing), NSD (Norwegian Social Science Data Services), and EconLit.
Next, the Journal of Leadership in Organizations (JLO) is a journal managed by the Leadership Studies Division, Department of Management, FEB UGM. This Sinta-accredited journal is published twice a year and publishes research results on leadership.
