The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), conferred degrees upon 162 postgraduate graduates during the Universitas Gadjah Mada Postgraduate Commencement Ceremony for Period IV of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The graduates participated in the university-wide commencement ceremony alongside postgraduate students from other faculties on Wednesday (22 July 2026) at Grha Sabha Pramana, UGM.
The graduates comprised 76 students from the Master of Management Program (Jakarta Campus), 40 from the Master of Management Program (Yogyakarta Campus), 20 from the Master of Accounting Program, 11 from the Master of Development Economics Program, five from the Master of Science in Management Program, three from the Master of Science in Accounting Program, three from the Master of Science in Economics Program, and four from the Doctoral Program in Accounting.
Two graduates achieved a perfect Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.00, earning the distinction of FEB UGM’s Best Graduates. They are Rieska Indah Astuti from the Master of Science in Economics Program, who completed her studies in 1 year, 9 months, and 27 days, and Fajar Munichputranto from the Master of Management Program, who completed his studies in 2 years, 4 months, and 14 days.
The graduate with the shortest study period was Martin Anggiat from the Master of Management Program (Jakarta Campus). He completed his studies in just 1 year, 1 month, and 11 days with a GPA of 3.93. Meanwhile, the youngest graduate was Salwa Alodia from the Master of Management Program, who completed her studies at the age of 22 years and 1 month.
The Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Didi Achjari, extended his congratulations to all graduates on their remarkable academic achievements. He emphasized that graduation is not merely a ceremonial milestone but also a moment to reflect on the perseverance, dedication, and intellectual journey that each graduate has undertaken.
“Tonight is not simply a farewell ceremony, but a moment of reflection on the hard work, dedication, and intellectual journey you have undertaken throughout your studies. Completing a program with international accreditation is certainly no easy feat. Yet, you have demonstrated that through perseverance, sacrifice, and a commitment to excellence, you have successfully overcome these challenges with distinction,” he remarked during the Master of Management Graduation Reception held on Tuesday (21 July 2026) at the MM FEB UGM Campus in Yogyakarta.
Prof. Didi further noted that the graduates’ success was also made possible by the unwavering support of their families, lecturers, professional staff, and the academic community, who accompanied them throughout their educational journey. He encouraged the graduates to uphold integrity, professional ethics, and the good name of their alma mater wherever they pursue their careers, particularly in the increasingly dynamic and complex fields of business and economics.
“I am confident that the education you have received, together with the values of Universitas Gadjah Mada, will serve as a strong foundation for you to become principled leaders who create positive impacts for your organizations, society, and the nation,” he concluded.
