Call for Papers The 2nd International Conference on Islamic Perspective of Accounting, Finance, Economics and Management

2nd International Conference on Islamic Perspective of Accounting, Finance, Economics and Management (IPAFEM) call for paper on the theme “Towards Advancing Economic Prosperity and Social Well-being”. The conference will be held on August 17-19, 2016 at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta – Indonesia.

Academics and professionals are kindly encouraged to contribute and help shape the conference through submissions of their research papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in any of the following areas from an Islamic perspective:

  • Economics
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Finance
  • Governance & Regulation
  • Human Resource Management

Special Journal Issues

A number of selected high-impact full text papers will be considered for publication in the Special Issue of Journal of Islamic Accounting & Business Research (JIABR).  All submitted papers will have opportunities for consideration for this special issue. The paper selection will be carried out during the peer review process as well as at the conference presentation stage. Submitted papers must not be under consideration by any other journal or publication. The final decision for paper selection will be made based on peer review reports.

There will also be awards for Best Papers.

Important dates:

  • May 31, 2016: Deadline for abstracts and full papers submission
  • June 15, 2016: Notification of acceptance of abstracts and full papers
  • June 30, 2016: Early Bird Registration
  • July 15, 2016: Deadline for final full paper or revised papers submission (camera ready)
  • July 30, 2016: Last date for presenter’s registration
  • July 31, 2016: Registration deadline
  • August 17-19, 2016: Conference Date
