
The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held training on the use of SIDEK-ERP (Sistem Debit Kredit Enterprise Resource Planning) for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Yogyakarta and Central Java on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. The training organized by the Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and MSME Studies Division of FEB UGM, with the Center for Information Systems Studies (PKSI), and Rumah BUMN aims to encourage economic growth and accelerate innovation in the small and medium industry sector.
Around 40 MSME players attended the training in DIY and Central Java. During the training, participants were trained on using the SIDEK ERP application for financial reports delivered by PKSI FEB UGM researcher, Uswatun Khasanah, M.Sc.
SIDEK-ERP is a web-based application developed by PKSI FEB UGM to assist in the integrated planning of MSMEs to be more efficient in running a business. This application offers various features that simplify the process of business management, operational management, and business finance.
The SIDEK-ERP application is designed to facilitate financial data analysis, minimize the risk of recording errors, and facilitate bookkeeping. In addition, this application is designed to help prepare financial reports easily, quickly, and reliably.
To date, SIDEK-ERP has been used by 984 users with details of 328 MSMEs, 600 students, and 56 vocational students in various regions such as Yogyakarta, Sleman, Surabaya, and Bandung. This program was developed as part of the community service of FEB UGM that aims to encourage digitalization and operational efficiency of MSMEs in Indonesia.
Sarno, one of the trainees, said he was quite helped by this training. This herbal medicine entrepreneur from Karanganyar, Central Java, was participating in training at FEB UGM for the first time and felt he had gained new knowledge that could help him in future business development.
“Hopefully, there will be further and continuous training in the future because this training helps me develop my business,” he said.
Sri Lestari, a roasted chocolate ampyang entrepreneur from Sleman, expressed a similar hope. She hopes that FEB UGM will not stop with providing training only. But in the future, he hopes that FEB UGM can assist MSME players in running a business.
