
The Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM) conducts an artificial intelligence (AI) training programme for professional staff. This training is part of developing human resource competencies in the digital transformation era. The training programme will take place over four sessions spanning one week, from 14–17 July 2025, at Room U104 FEB UGM.
The training will feature speaker Gunawan Wibisono, S.E., M.Acc., CA., and will be divided into two groups: basic AI training and intermediate AI training. During the training sessions, participants were provided with a basic understanding of AI concepts, including types of AI such as machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI for administrative tasks.
Additionally, the training addressed essential topics such as ethics, security, and responsibility in AI usage. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in hands-on practice, including creating official documents, data analysis, and developing simple AI workflows.
The Head of the FEB UGM Administrative Office, Nur Bakti Susilo, S.E., Ak., CA., ASEAN CPA., stated that this training aims to enhance professional staff’s understanding of AI. Moving forward, experienced staff will be able to implement AI to support administrative and operational tasks at FEB UGM.
