The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), graduated 54 undergraduate students in the Graduation Period II of Academic Year 2025/2026. The send-off ceremony took place on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, in the Auditorium on the 8th Floor of the Learning Centre Building at FEB UGM.
In this period, FEB UGM graduated 54 students, comprising 24 from the Accounting Study Program, 19 from the Management Study Program, and 11 from the Economics Study Program. Of this total, 32 graduates achieved the cum laude distinction.
Several graduates recorded outstanding achievements. The Best Graduate of the Accounting Study Program was awarded to Cynthia Fransisca, who achieved a GPA of 3.97 and completed her studies in 3 years, 4 months, and 12 days. The Best Graduate of the Management Study Program was awarded to Ratis Maharanidewi Cesarina, with a GPA of 3.92 and a study period of 4 years, 3 months, and 25 days. Meanwhile, Michael Gerald Supit was named the Best Graduate of the Economics Study Program and the Fastest Graduate, completing his studies in 3 years, 4 months, and 1 day with a GPA of 3.80. The Youngest Graduate distinction was awarded to Razkyla Wilhelmina Nelissen from the Accounting Study Program, who graduated at the age of 21 years, 11 months, and 26 days with a GPA of 3.80.
Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA., expressed appreciation for the graduates’ dedication and achievements. He emphasized that both academic and non-academic accomplishments reflect not only the students’ individual excellence but also the institution’s commitment to building a learning ecosystem that fosters integrity, competitiveness, and meaningful contribution.
On the same occasion, he noted that FEB UGM continues to expand access to education through scholarships. This support demonstrates FEB UGM’s commitment to ensuring inclusive, high-quality education accessible to students from diverse backgrounds.
“This year, the number of recipients of the KIP-K and Afirmasi Dikti scholarships for the even semester of 2026 reached 199 students. Meanwhile, 12 students received the KAFEGAMA 89 scholarship,” he said.
This send-off ceremony marked not only the end of the graduates’ academic journey but also the beginning of a new chapter. In her speech as the graduates’ representative, Cynthia Fransisca reflected on the meaning of graduation as part of a long process of character building.
“Success is not about who is the fastest, but about who remains most faithful to their calling,” she said.
The ceremony also served as a platform to recognise the accomplishments of several graduates who had excelled in various competitions. At the national level, Alif Hasan Ramadhan (Accounting) won First Place in the OCBC Ventura National Venture Investment Competition (ONVIC) 2025, Aditya Kurniawan (Accounting) won First Place in the 23rd ATV Audit Competition 2024, and Helmi Ihsan (Economics) won Second Place in the National Economic Debate Competition HIMAVO Akmapesa IPB.
At the international level, Afif Haidar Endraswara (Accounting) won First Place in the IMA Asia Pacific Student Case Competition 2023, Irfan Septia Dwisantana (Management) won First Place in the International Sustainability Marketing Competition 2024, and Cynthia Fransisca also won Third Place in the International Accounting Competition as part of Udayana Accounting Days 2024. These achievements reflect the global competitiveness of FEB UGM students.
