The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) officially graduated 164 students from the Bachelor’s Programme Period I of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Tuesday (25/11) at the FEB UGM Plaza. Afterwards, the graduates participated in the graduation ceremony with thousands of other students at Grha Sabha Pramana on Wednesday (26/11).
In this period, FEB UGM graduated 53 graduates from the Accounting Study Programme, 37 graduates from the Economics Study Programme, and 74 graduates from the Management Study Programme. A total of 116 graduates received cum laude honours. Meanwhile, the title of best graduate was awarded to Muh. Ridho Kurniawan Saadi from the Accounting Study Programme, who completed his studies in 3 years, 11 months, and 2 days with a GPA of 3.94. The youngest graduate was Muhammad Izzan Zharfanurrasyif from the Management Study Programme at the age of 21 years, 2 months, and 8 days with a GPA of 3.56. Then, Ida Bagus Tedja Adnyana from the Economics Study Programme became the graduate with the fastest study period, namely 3 years, 10 months, and 19 days with a GPA of 3.69.
During the graduation ceremony, the Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA., advised the graduates to contribute to society, the nation, and the country by utilising the knowledge and academic experience they gained during their studies at FEB UGM.
Didi expressed his belief that the graduates were ready to become a generation capable of leading the country. He also hoped that every alumnus would always uphold the good name of their alma mater and maintain high integrity throughout their lives.
‘May this graduation and commencement ceremony be a gateway to a brighter future,’ he concluded.
During this graduation ceremony, FEB UGM also announced several achievements by its students at the national and international levels. Among them were Yumna Nabila Adi from the Accounting Study Programme, who won 1st place in the 23rd ATV FEB UI, Mikael Bagas Ario Wicaksono from the Economics Study Programme, who won 1st place in the 21st Economix Paper Competition, and Aisya Khuriyyatu Wirda from the Management Study Programme, who won 1st place in the Economia Business Case Competition (EBCC) 2021.
Next, I Gusti Ayu Maresta Amrita Puspa Pujawati, from the Economics Study Programme, won 1st place in the 2023 Brawijaya University International Business Plan Competition and 2nd place in the 2024 NTU-GAIP Case Competition. Exxel Diandra Adyatma from the Accounting Study Programme won second place in the 2024 IMA Asia Pacific Student Case Competition, Jasmine Iliyya from the Accounting Study Programme won second place in the 2024 NTU-GAIP Case Competition, and Ancilla Patsy Martani from the Management Study Programme won 3rd place in the ICAEW Mainland China & Southeast Asia Business Challenge 2024.
These achievements demonstrate the ability of FEB UGM students to compete in various prestigious events and bring pride to FEB UGM. During this period, several graduates received academic support through various scholarship schemes, such as 20 recipients of the KIP-K scholarship, two recipients of the KAFEGAMA 82 scholarship, and nine recipients of the IISMA international mobility programme.
