Based on the selection and survey conducted in 2008, Eduniversal awards the award to the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada, together with the Faculty of Economics University of Indonesia and SIB ITB as “EXCELLENT Business Schools nationally strong and/or with continental links”.
This award is given in the form of a certificate as proof for business schools that are considered strong business schools on a national scale and have good links and relationships with business schools from other countries. The awarding system was based on the results of the interview participated in by 1,000 deans from selected business schools. Those deans were asked to answer the question “Which business school was the most recommended for study purposes in the country?” The Interview was conducted from October 2007 to March 2008.
They were expected to answer correctly; thus, voting for their respective country was not mandatory. And they were also requested to make a selection, in which they cannot recommend over 50% of the business schools selected per country.
Eduniversal itself is a tool to give perspectives and references for higher education purposes.
The selection process was a result of the International Scientific Committee held in Paris (France), as the initiative of the SMBG, the leading French consultancy in student orientation and human resources.
