Merdeka Belajar Tendik 2022

In order to facilitate cross training, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) for Education Personnel UGM with the theme “2 Days of Working at FEB”. This training is a great opportunity for all Tendik at UGM to learn in depth about the administrative processes at FEB UGM. Freedom to Learn for UGM Education personnel is also one of the series in the 67th Anniversary of FEB UGM. This event is held for two days or the equivalent of 8 hours of lessons.

The first day, Tuesday (21/9), consisted of a FEB briefing session, Campus Tour, and Sharing Session. In the FEB briefing session, UGM education personnel were introduced to the facilities and environment of FEB UGM. Then UGM education personnel were invited to do a Campus Tour, which is a leisurely walk while recognizing the FEB UGM environment. Then at the Sharing Session, UGM education personnel were divided into groups according to the seven topics offered in this program. Each group conducts presentations and discussions on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Freedom to Learning for UGM education personnel on the first day ended with lunch at the EB Canteen.

Then, on the second day the main agenda is cross training in the registered work unit room, as well as joint discussions. There are seven topics offered, namely Student Work Program & Scholarship Services, Cooperation Processing & Alumni Services, Asset Procurement & Recording, Electronic Book Procurement & Library Management, Bonded Fund Management, Work Unit Security Governance, and Work Unit Cleanliness Management. Each of the topics offered was limited to quotas of 10 so that learning can take place effectively. UGM education personnel were facilitated to discuss critically in their respective units.
