MAN 3 Jakarta Visits FEB UGM

On Thursday (09/02) the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM held an event open Campus 2023 in the 8th floor Auditorium of the Learning Center Building. This time, FEB UGM was visited by students from MAN 3 Jakarta who were enthusiastic about participating in the activity.
The event was opened with remarks given by Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni. Gumilang welcomes students and accompanying teachers at FEB UGM. It is an honor for FEB UGM to be host in this event, he continued. He also explained that Feb UGM is a competitive faculty as seen from the total registrants in 2022 reaching more than 10,000.
Furthermore, the event continued with the first speaker, Widya Paramitha, Ph.D. Lecturer at Department of Management. In his presentation, Widya explained UGM which has been accredited by AACSB and BAN-PT. She also explained what areas of interest could be taken by FEB UGM students majoring in accounting, management, and economics. In addition, Widya also explained the selection pathway to enter UGM which consisted of SNBP, SNBT, Achievement Path, and CBT-UM UGM.
The second speaker, Nastyalita Gunaprasida, Education Staff of FEB UGM, brought the topic intake IUP. Nastya explained that The International Undergraduate Program or abbreviated IUP FEB UGM has three departments, namely Accounting, Management, and Economics. She said that FEB UGM is the first business school in Indonesia to receive AACSB accreditation. Apart from that, she also explained the procedures for registering for the IUP UGM program.
The third speaker, Naufal Mohamad Firdausyan, a student at FEB UGM majoring in Economics, presented the topic "Becoming a FEB 101 Student: From Student to Student." Naufal explained his reasons for choosing to study at FEB UGM, namely exposure, network, and opportunity. He also recounted his life as a student participating in organizations, receiving top scholarships, apprenticeship experience, and competitions he had participated in. Naufal also invited his friends to determine the direction of his life, especially regarding college choices.
Activity Open Campus proceeds with the sessionCampus Tour to the FEB UGM environment. ProgramOpen Campus ended with closing and group photos as well campus Tours in groups guided by representatives of FEB UGM students from various departments and batches.
