FEB UGM Held Inauguration for New Students of Professional and Postgraduate Programs 2023

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) has inaugurated the ceremony for new professional and postgraduate students on Tuesday (8/08). The inauguration process was carried out online through the Zoom Meetings platform. The event commenced with singing the national anthem, "Indonesia Raya", and the "Gadjah Mada Hymn". Afterwards, a slide show was presented, displaying faculty leadership, department chair, and study program management.
Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs of FEB UGM, then delivered a brief welcome speech. He emphasized the importance of students upholding the "3B" values: "bersyukur" (gratitude), "belajar" (learning), and "berprestasi" (achievement). "We hope that all students will excel, behave with honesty, uphold integrity, and achieve accomplishments that make their families, sending institutions, FEB UGM, and Indonesia proud," he concluded.
The event continued with a video tour of the faculty, introducing each professional and postgraduate program available at FEB UGM. The agenda was closed with a group photo session involving the faculty leaders and the new students. In this academic year, out of the 10 professional and postgraduate programs offered, FEB UGM welcomed 1,128 studentsnew students (comprising 541 in the matriculation class and 587 in the first semester). Congratulations to the new students of the 2023 class on embarking on this new journey at FEB UGM!
