CSDU and KiAA Hold Career Days FEB UGM 2023

In order to bridge students and alums, the Career and Student Development Unit (CSDU) and the Partnership, Admission and Alumni Unit (KiAA) Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held Career Days 2023 on Tuesday and Wednesday (15-16/8). This company expo event that opens vacancies is intended for FEB UGM students, especially final semester students and fresh graduates looking for work or are often called jobseekers. Career Days 2023 brings together partner companies and FEB UGM students and is planned to be a solution in finding employment and exploring insights related to the world of work for early semester students.

Career Days 2023 opened by remarks by the Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA. Then, in the Career Days 2023, which were held at the FEB UGM Learning Center (LC) Hall, seven partner companies participated and showed, namely: PT. Bank Central Asia (Bank BCA), Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH), FIF Group, PB Taxand, PT. Paragon Technology & Innovation, PT. Karya Hidup Santosa (Quick Tractor), PT. Bina Pertiwi (Member of Astra International Tbk). Besides holding company exhibitions, sharing sessions were also held, namely presentations by each company regarding recruitment and introduction.

In the presentation session, FIF Group started by explaining e-Recruitment which was opened for the FIF Group Development Program. Then the next company is Quick Tracktor, which describes job vacancies in the positions of Accounting Staff, Marketing Staff, Internal Audit Staff, HRD Staff, Training Staff, and Production Staff. Quick Tracktor also details that the application uses an integrated website. Then, the presentation was continued by PB Taxand regarding the role of Junior and the stages of joining and the criteria.

After that, Bank BCA also explained its recruitment with the hashtag #MungkinLoCocok (#PerhapsYouAreFitTo) Join BCA. Bank BCA opens applications for Relationship Officer positions, Wealth Management Programs, and Management Development Programs. BPKH then continued this session by explaining the Officer Development Program (ODP) program and employee value relations that BPKH offers, as well as the qualifications of BPKH ODP applicants. Not to forget, Paragon also explained the opening of applications for Paragon Intrapreneurship (Parapreneurship) Development Program (PDP) and the selection process. In this session, Bina Pertiwi also explained Management Trainee vacancies and their criteria and requirements. For two days, students and alumni of FEB UGM enthusiastically took turns visiting the Expo and exchanging information at the exhibition and sharing sessions.
