The 4th World Class Professor (WCP) Program 2020 was successfully held online on (13/11/2020) with the theme "Accounting, Organizations, and Sustainable Development Relationship". The series of WCP Program 2020 was held with the aim that lecturers or researchers in Indonesia can improve and develop their academic life, competence, as well as their contribution to the advancement of national science and technology. This webinar program from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) also invites world-class professors from world's leading universities and institutions to become insightful speakers of this event.

Centre for Accounting Management and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Studies, Laboratory of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM has held a webinar with the topic "Scale-Up MSMEs with Gojek: Strategies to Rise Up in the Middle of a Pandemic" on Friday (19/03). The event was started by Achmad Faizal Azmi, S.E., M.Sc., Lecturer at the Department of Accounting, FEB UGM, as the Master of Ceremony (MC). The MC then introduced Aviandi Okta Maulana, Dr., M.Acc., Ak., CA., from the FEB UGM Accounting Laboratory team as the moderator who guided the webinar. Held through the Zoom platform, this webinar was attended by participants ranging from educators, students, practitioners, and MSME owners.

The Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS WUR) by Subject 2021 was officially released on Wednesday (3/3) placing Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in the world's top 350 rankings based on an assessment of its 3 fields of study. The 3 fields of study are Social Sciences & Management, Arts & Humanities, and Engineering & Technology. In this QS WUR by Subject 2021, the field of social sciences & management is UGM's best field of study among the 3 others by being ranked 261 in the world. This field of study has increased its ranking from 266 in the QS WUR by Subject 2020. The Engineering & Technology field of study is in the 335th rank, successfully increasing from the 355th rank. Meanwhile, the Arts & Humanities field of study was ranked 350th.

The Center for Public Sector and Taxation Studies (PSST), Accounting Laboratory, Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM (FEB UGM) on Friday (26/02) held a seminar on the topic "Revisiting Fiscal Sustainability During COVID-19 Pandemic in Indonesia". The seminar is held online through the Zoom Meetings Platform. This seminar presented a resource person who is a practitioner of fiscal policy from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkeu RI), namely Adelia Surya Pratiwi, S.E., M.Sc., as Head of the Public Communication Strategy and Management Subdivision, Fiscal Policy Agency, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The moderator at this seminar was Vogy Gautama Buanaputra, M.Sc., Ph.D., AFHEA., Lecturer at the Department of Accounting, FEB UGM.
