"We used to have corporate economics, accounting and economics departments, but now it has changed into management, accounting and economics department. Agricultural Economics was the only one that does not continued in this faculty" said Prof. Marwan Asri, MBA., Ph.D. on Alumni Gathering FEB UGM Classes of 1950s. This alumni gathering lasted for couple of days and the purpose of this event is to treasure sweet memories in UGM together with alumni and their families.

State Enterprise Minister, Rini M. Soemarno, has targeted that by the end of 2019, no state enterprises would suffer from a loss. By end of 2017, she said, there were just 13 of 24 enterprises that suffered from a loss whilst profits increased by 30 percent from Rp148 trillion in 2014 to Rp183 trillion. “The asset was formerly 4,500 trillion at end of 2017, becoming 7,000 trillion,” Minister Rini said in Executive Series public lecture themed Nurturing and Managing Leader to students of Master Management of UGM on Thursday (12/4).

Public Sector Governance (PSG) Faculty of Economics and Business UGM held National Seminar on Public Accountability (SNAP) 2018 on Saturday (7/4) at Ballroom of The Sahid Rich Hotel Yogyakarta. The participants were enthused from the beginning to the end of the event. More than 300 participants varies from civil servant, intellectual and students were present in SNAP 2018. This activity is supported by IAI, BPKP, STAR (State Accountability Revitalization), ADB, Sleman District Government, and PSG.

The annual event Management’s Events (ME) was officially opened. In its 12th year, Management’s Events has three sub-events, which are Gadjah Mada Business Case Competition (GMBCC) that has entered its 6th year, is an international-level business case competition. Indonesia Studentpreneur Summit (IDEAS) is a student socio-preneurship competition, and Exposure is a creative-market expo. On March 8th – 10th 2018, ME successfully held its GMBCC and IDEAS.
