On Sunday, 23rd September 2018, the lecturers and staffs of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) and their families arrived at FEB UGM in casual environment. They started to gather at Plaza FEB UGM at 07.00 WIB. On that day, one of the events of the 63rd FEB UGM Anniversary series was on going, namely “Family Fun Day 2018”.
The event was filled with various exciting entertainment activities and competitions. It was opened by zumba aerobic session in the morning and continued by a speech delivered by Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D. as the Dean of FEB UGM. Then, the participants had breakfast together which also livened up by some music performances. Some lecturers and employees were participated in singing performance. After that, the participants entered the dancing Poco-poco and Gemu Famire session. Finally, the door prize winners were announced and the event was closed by having lunch together. Additionally to those activities, there are also children coloring contest, family competitions and relay clog races.
Family Fun Day 2018 is part of arrangement of the 63rd Anniversary of FEB UGM. Carrying “Synergy to Improve the Quality of Indonesian Higher Education” as the main theme, FEB UGM is expected to be more qualified and able to develop the ability of Indonesian national leaders.
