UGM Delegates Join Harvard National Model United Nations 2018 in Boston, USA

Eight students of Universitas Gadjah Mada represent Indonesia in the Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN) 2018. The largest and oldest conference in the world will be attended by over 3,000 delegates from all over the world. HNMUN is organised by Harvard University from 15-18 February 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
The UGM delegates are spread in five councils. The Legal Committee council is represented by Mhd. Ikram Alfansa (Law 2017) and M. Raffy Sonata (Economics 2016). World Health Organization council is represented by Felicia Joanna Siahaan (Economics 2015) and Hanin Fairuz (Dentistry 2016). Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Affairs Committee council is represented by Jesita Ajani (Economics 2016) and Ariel River of Joy (International Relations 2017). Disarmament and International Security council is represented by Abyan Irsyad (Management 2017). While the Walt Disney Management council is represented by Sheila Alifia Wahyuni (International Relations 2014).
Chairperson of UGM delegates, Felicia Joanna, said the UGM delegates had gone through a long selection to join the event. They were selected by UGM MUN Community. Each delegate practised every week and every day during holidays.
Felicia said it was an honour for the delegates to be able to represent UGM at the international event.
“We hope to be able to always make the country proud through other international competitions,” said Felicia.
