In commemoration of the 72nd Anniversary of Gadjah Mada University (UGM), on Wednesday (17/11) Universitas Gadjah Mada held the UGM Person Achievement Awarding Night 2021. the UGM Person Achievement Awarding Night 2021 is an award event for lecturers, education staff, students, and UGM alumni. The UGM Person Award night was held at the Grha Sabha Pramana Building. In addition to awarding awards, the UGM Student Achievement Awarding Night was enlivened by a number of performances of Indonesian music and dances. The event is held in a hybrid manner, held through limited offline channels and can be watched online via the Universitas Gadjah Mada YouTube channel.
The UGM Person Awarding Night is an annual event organized by UGM as part of the UGM Anniversary commemoration event which will be held on December 19, 2021. This year, there are 65 awards given out in 7 categories, namely the Alumnus with Achievements, Inspirational Lecturers, and Professionals. Inspirational Education, Outstanding Students, Best Research, Publication and Citation awards, as well as Knowledge Dissemination awards through Documentary Videos and Learning Innovations through eLOK.
UGM Chancellor, Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., IPU, ASEAN Eng. gave a speech to open the UGM Achievement Person Awarding Night. “The purpose of this event is to give appreciation from UGM so that in carrying out our work we all always try to be the best and make a big contribution to the institution as well as to the nation and state,” said the UGM Chancellor.
“Congratulations to all award recipients, hopefully it can be adding the spirit of our service,” added the Chancellor.
Civitas Academica of FEB UGM has won three awards in the UGM Person Achievement Awarding Night. The award was received by Ika Krisnadewi, S. Psi as the Best 1 Inspirational Education Personnel in Academic, Student Affairs, and Quality Assurance. Maryatun, S.E., M.A as Best 1 Inspirational Education Personnel for Inspirational Librarians. In addition, FEB UGM students Wulandari (Accounting 2018) and Yadi Suryadi (Accounting 2018) won the Outstanding Student award in the UGM UGM Person Achievement Awarding Night for their achievements won 1st place in the Investigative Audit Field, the National Student Competition in the Fields of Business, Management, and Finance 2021.
We hoped that the awarding will ignite enthusiasm and be a motivation for the UGM Academic Civitas to continue to make achievements and contribute to the country.
