An undergraduate student of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, Cita Amalia Husna (Accounting -IUP 2019), won first Place for Outstanding Student (Mapres) in the Undergraduate Category at UGM 2022. Previously, Cita was the first Outstanding Student in FEB UGM. The selection of Outstanding Students at the faculty level was carried out from January 1 to 14, 2022. The selections made were in the form of documents screening and presentation selection. The file selection consists of the Outstanding Achievement (CU) file, which contains a maximum of ten best achievements, a creative idea script (GK), and an English language certification. Meanwhile, the presentation selection consisted of presentations of creative ideas and interviews to clarify files and portfolios.
After the selection of Outstanding Students at the faculty level, a selection of university-level students will be conducted. The election was held in the Supercamp 2022. Supercamp is an annual event organized by the UGM Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa). The goal is to bring together outstanding students who will represent UGM at the national level. In 2022, Supercamp was held for two days from June 4 to 5.
Cita admitted that she was motivated to take part in the Mapres event because there was someone who inspired her, namely a senior who has many achievements and won the UGM Mapres when she was a new student. Since then, Cita has been determined to try many things such as competitions, being a speaker, moderator, and other activities. She feels that by participating in this Mapres event, she can make FEB proud by being a representative.
Achieving the title of Undergraduate Student Achievement at UGM is not easy. Cita as a 6th-semester student must be able to manage time well related to lectures and also the internship activities that are being carried out in Jakarta. However, Cita continuously works hard and does not give up. Preparations for the national stage are also being carried out with the Vocational Headquarters in the form of presentation techniques, how to answer questions, portfolio improvement, and creative ideas. Congratulations to Cita Amalia Husna for her achievements and we wish her nothing but the best in representing UGM at the national level!
